Drawing

These drawings consist of graphite, charcoal, and pen. Feel free to contact me with commissions or comments!

Inhaling Music Is Real

NOT AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. This is a tattoo design I did for commission work. They brought me the picture of the phonograph and I drew it and added the smoke and changed a few things from the image.

Pollard Birches 10 Minute Study

SOLD. This charcoal study I did is a famous Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) pencil, pen in brown (once black) ink drawing called "Pollard Birches", 1884.

Nostalgia

Still life. Charcoal on Arches paper.

Girls On Instagram

This 15 minute graphite study on the human skeletal system. The title is facetious and only made for everyone to giggle not to be offensive.

10 Minute Study

I drew this while listening to music as a warm up for more serious drawing.

From Within

This was made from four different images all put into one drawing. This is how I feel most of the time...end of story.

Willow Pod

This is a charcoal drawing of a dried willow pod hanging from the ceiling with some string. behind it were some chairs and other willow pods.

Self Portrait Sketch

This is pen on paper in my sketch book. This is for an oil painting I did.

Hand Study

All we had to do in my drawing class was draw 5 or 6 hands and I decided to make it look interesting instead of having those hands floating around in space on the page. I had a couple of hand "models" I have to thank too.

5 Minute Study

This is another Vincent van Gough sketch. This is a post-impressionistic style using charcoal on paper.

Big Daddy!

NOT AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE. I drew this as a gift for someone a couple years back. I did not design this though. Big Daddy is a character in the BioShock video game series.

Movin'

I drew this listening to music to warm up to other serious art activities to get the creative juices flowing.

We Are Brave

This is charcoal on paper. This is a dancer full of life and strength jumping into the darkness. We have all been there in one form or another.

No Title

Sometimes, in order to get work done, you need to step back and help yourself first. I did this charcoal and ink piece to gather, center, and rejuvenate myself before I started working on what actually needed to get done. I just wanted to get all the 'muck' and 'ick' out of my body onto the paper so I could concentrate when I started working.
